President, Chief Executive Officer and Director
Clifton R. Beckham has served as president, chief executive officer and director of USA Truck since 2007. He is responsible for working with the company’s board of directors to establish strategic objectives, then allocating capital resources and assembling teams to achieve those objectives. Beckham also serves as the public face of USA Truck. Previously, he served as senior vice president, Finance (2003-07); chief financial officer (2002-07); secretary (2001-05); vice president, Finance (2002-03); treasurer (2001-02); controller (1999-2001) and chief accountant (1996-99). Beckham, a Certified Public Accountant (inactive), joined USA Truck in 1994 and was named to the 2006 Northwest Arkansas Business Journal 40-Under-40 and 2007 Arkansas Business 40-Under-40 lists. A native of Fort Smith, Ark., Beckham has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Arkansas State University, is a certified public accountant (inactive license in Arkansas) and holds an Arkansas Class A Commercial Driver’s License. In the community, he serves on several non-profit boards, including the Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce and the University of Arkansas — Fort Smith Foundation.
