USA Truck, Inc. maintains a modernized tractor fleet that includes several makes and models including International 9400i and the ProStar, Kenworth T660, Peterbilt models 386 and 387 and the Freightliner Cascadia. Most of the fleet models are equipped with the Cummins ISX engine and the Detroit Diesel (DD15) engine. In addition, the fleet also has a small percentage of Navistar's MaxxForce engine. Tractors will have at least 72 inches from the seat to the inside back of cab, air-ride suspensions, anti-lock brakes, power steering and cruise control. 

New tractors being purchased are equipped with aluminum wheels, air sliding fifth wheels, power invertors, power windows and door locks, tilt and telescopic steering and a roll stability system that includes traction control. These components and features are part of a commitment to ensure safety, comfort, and driver satisfaction which are top priorities. Each tractor is also equipped with a mobile communication device. As of March 2013, USA Truck, Inc. operated 2,289 tractors with an average fleet age of 30 months. 

The standard trailer is a dry van. Trailers are 53 feet in length, 99-101 inches wide, and have an air or spring suspension system. The trailer fleet is comprised of both sheet & post and composite plate trailers. As of March 2013, USA Truck, Inc. operated 6,051 Company trailers with an average fleet age of 77 months.
