President, Chief Executive Officer and Director
Mr. Reed joined USA Truck in November 2016, bringing more than two decades of multi-faceted experience in trucking, logistics, finance and business development. He previously served as chief financial officer of Interstate Distributor Company (an asset-based trucking business), as well as president of its subsidiary, Interstate Distributor Logistics. As Interstate’s CFO, Mr. Reed was responsible for all accounting, financial planning and analysis and IT, and led the company’s strategic planning process. He joined Interstate in 2012 and served for a time as its senior vice president, sales, with full accountability for the company’s revenue growth and strategic account development. Mr. Reed’s extensive experience includes 15 years of leading finance in public companies.
EVP, Chief Commercial Officer and President, USAT Logistics
Mr. Craig joined USA Truck in February 2016 with over 30 years of experience in logistics and transportation. He was previously chief marketing officer for BNSF Logistics, LLC, where he was responsible for business development, customer solutions and marketing activities across the company’s worldwide organization. Prior to that, he held a series of executive positions, including senior vice president, corporate sales and marketing, for Yusen Logistics. Mr. Craig began his career in logistics and transportation with Con-way Truckload in 1983.
Mr. Tewari has more than 25 years of industry experience that includes key leadership positions at Con-Way Truckload, Roehl Transport Inc. and Arrow Trucking. Prior to USA Truck, he was Vice President of Operations for Con-Way Truckload. Mr. Tewari joined USA Truck in September 2015.
VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF ACCOUNTING OFFICER
Mr. Kaiser has served as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer since February 2016. From August 2016 to November 2016, Joseph also served as Principle Financial Officer. He served as Vice President and Corporate Controller from July 2014 to February 2016. Prior to joining USA Truck, Mr. Kaiser served in leadership positions at Swift Transportation Company from March 2012 to July 2014, including Director of Financial Reporting. Mr. Kaiser served as Corporate Accounting Manager of American Land Lease Inc. from 2010 through March 2012. Mr. Kaiser served in various audit capacities at Deloitte & Touché LLP from 2007 to 2010, for both public and privately held companies. Mr. Kaiser is a certified public accountant.
Vice President, Human Resources
Ms. Harshaw has more than 20 years of Human Resources experience targeted to the transportation industry. She has served in a supervisory role at USA Truck since 1999, having held positions as Human Resources/Personnel Supervisor and Manager, Fuel Economy & Quality Manager and Manager of Corporate training before becoming Director, Human Resources in 2010. Ms. Harshaw joined USA Truck in 1992.
VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL COUNSEL
Mr. Robertson joined USA Truck in October 2015 after holding various leadership positions, including Chief Counsel, at Con-way Truckload. He joined Contract Freighters Inc. in 2000 as a Management Trainee, and during his tenure there held leadership positions in Marketing Resources, Risk Management, Employee Benefits and Safety/Claims. He was named General Counsel of CFI in 2006 and remained Chief Counsel with CFI’s successor company, Con-way Truckload In. At USA Truck, Mr. Robertson manages all legal affairs and has oversight responsibility for Risk Management. Prior to CFI, Mr. Robertson was with Yellow Freight System in Overland Park, Kansas.
