Driver Team Member Wins iPad, Feature Slot In Company Advertising Campaign
June 11, 2014 – USA Truck, a leading transportation and logistics provider, has selected driver team member Joshua Osborne of Clarksville, TN as the winner of its Hometime Hobby Contest.
Earlier this year, USA Truck announced a Facebook contest in which its drivers could submit photos and stories of what they do with their well-deserved hometime. The submissions were compiled into an album where fans of the social media page could vote for their favorites. Osborne, who just marked his first anniversary with USA Truck, received an iPad and is being featured in the company’s 2014 advertising campaign.
Osborne submitted a photo of himself and his daughter, Brooke, with the caption, “I love my hometime because my favorite hobby is spending time with my daughter, who was born last December.”
Linda Stark-Lee, Osborne’s Driver Manager at USA Truck, said, “Joshua is a valued member of the USA Truck family. He is one of our best drivers. He does everything we ask and more; we need more like him.”
USA Truck offers a “Bank the Hometime” program where driver team members can get two days off for every 14 on the road, up to five consecutive days off. Drivers can build up their miles and earn more, while steadily increasing hometime and getting back to doing the things they love.
