USA Truck maintains a state-of-the-art Data Center through the efforts of more than 40 highly trained computer professionals. We currently utilize several different computing platforms ranging from personal computers to an IBM mainframe system. USA Truck doesn’t operate a “canned” trucking software system that can be purchased from a reseller. Our entire system, including payroll, billing, dispatch, accounting and maintenance, was developed by application programmers working at USA Truck. Because we know our systems so well, we have the flexibility to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers.

Our computer systems are monitored 24 hours a day by experienced computer operators. At the first sign of trouble, the appropriate support person is notified and the problem is quickly resolved. This monitoring system has allowed us to provide 99.9% system availability to our users. Listed below are some of the pieces of hardware that make up our Data Center.

3995 Optical Jukebox with 4 drives for access to imaged documents

Approximately 700 PCs for users and also as servers in our Data Center
