We operate maintenance facilities in Atlanta, Carlisle, Chicago, Dallas, Dayton, Laredo, and Memphis markets. Our charge is to keep USA Truck equipment in top condition to meet and exceed the company’s performance objectives. We do this by reducing maintenance operating costs, focusing on preventative maintenance to improving vehicle uptime, ensuring safe operation, and enhancing our professional driving fleet’s experience.
Level 1 - An entry level service/repair position with training provided to develop into a master technician. Level 2 - Mid-level service/repair position, with at least two years of experience repairing Class 8 equipment. Training program provided to help develop into a master technician. Level 3 - A master technician with at least five years of experience and heavy truck ASE certifications. Mentors to less experienced technicians and helps them develop their skills and abilities.
As a nationwide transportation provider, USA Truck requires management personnel at several levels (local, regional and corporate) to insure the quality of repairs made by maintenance operations.
Responsible for identifying and claiming manufacturer, aftermarket, and policy warrantable repairs. The Warranty Manager reviews maintenance repair history to identify potentially warrantable repairs and trends, with the primary goal of decreasing overall maintenance cost per mile.
Coordinates the maintenance and required preparation of USA Truck's equipment prior to issuing to our drivers.
Coordinates the availability of required parts for USA Truck maintenance operations.
Assists USA Truck drivers in coordinating and resolving remote roadside emergencies.
