Van Buren, AR – September 16, 2015 –USA Truck, Inc. (NASDAQ:USAK), a leading capacity solutions provider headquartered in Van Buren, AR, has appointed Chris Parsons Vice President of Maintenance. He will oversee USA Truck’s fleet of nearly 2,000 tractors and eight maintenance terminals.
Mr. Parsons, who has more than 17 years of fleet management experience, joins USA Truck from Navajo Express, Inc., a Denver, CO-based company that provides transportation solutions across 48 states. At Navajo Express, Mr. Parsons oversaw fleet maintenance operations nationwide, with responsibility for nearly 800 power units.
Mr. Parsons also served as Director of Maintenance for Alliance HealthCare Services and Assistant Director of Maintenance & Equipment for Stevens Transport, where he was responsible for maintenance nationwide for 1,800 power units and 3,000 refrigerated trailers.

Mr. Parsons began his career in fleet management with Mobley Construction in 1997 and served as Fleet Maintenance Shop Manager for Wal-Mart Transportation from 2004 – 2010.
